This page has been created to provide staff with information on what rooms are available for booking meetings and events, who you should contact to do so, and if you require any catering this page will provide you with the details on how book it.
Bookable Spaces in LUU
Use our Room Booking System to book. You'll find this under the Quick Links section of the Staff Intranet. Good for activity that requires movement or tables and chairs can be put in the space.
If you require any catering for your meeting or event, please fill out the required forms for our Cafe's and Bars.
Hybrid Conferencing and Meetings
The Owl is best used in the scenario where you are having an in person meeting and some people have been unable to attend.
It is a conference call device that has a 360* camera and microphone. You’ll be able to place it in the middle of a room and it will be able to pick up whoever is speaking and even give them their own screen while in a video call.
To book The Owl for a conference or meeting visit the Service Catalogue on the IT Helpdesk.
Marketing and Communications now have an exhibition stand.
They will get priority to use it for specific events such as Fresh Start Festival and Welcome Week. Other teams in LUU are welcome to use it to set up at any events where they may be speaking to students.
The main panelled display is best used in indoor spaces but can be placed outdoors in areas with little or no wind (or with weights to ensure it’s held in place). The front stand can be used anywhere.
