Here at LUU, we want to make sure you stay connected, both with each other in LUU, and with the outside world. Check out our ideas for fun things to do.
There is always something going on in LUU; be it a LUU Staff Network event, an awareness day or a one-off activity that a team are hosting to staff members. To find out what is going on in and around LUU, you can head over to our Cultural Calendar, where the People Team will be regularly updating this with the many events and activities that are happening.
Fun
We encourage staff to connect with each other on their shared interests, so if any staff would like to lead on a group such as a Five a-side football team, running group, or a board games group... get in touch with The People Team who can help you set it up and promote it through our internal communications.
LUU Staff Choir
This is a lunchtime session led by Tasha Pickles (t.pickles@leeds.ac.uk). This is open to all staff regardless of ability and experience... its an hour just to have a sing! For more information on how to join the Group Chat, contact Tasha.
Arts, Crafts and Creative Projects
This is a lunch time craft group where you can bring in existing projects (or start new ones), sit together and have a chat while creating. The group meet every two weeks, and connect via Google Chat. For more information and how to get involved, email Anna Winter on a.winter2@leeds.ac.uk.
LUU Kickabout
This staff five-a-side football runs monthly, and is open to all genders and abilities; with emphasis on the kickabout being about getting together and having fun.
