1.5 Pension*

All eligible employees must, by law, be auto-enrolled into a qualifying workplace pension scheme within the first six weeks of employment. LUU will contribute to the pension. To be eligible for auto-enrolment you must be aged between 22 and State Pension age, earn more than £10,000 per year and work in the UK. You have the option of opting out of the pension scheme. If you have previously opted out of a pension scheme with a previous employer you will need to do so again when joining LUU. Please contact the People Team on unihr@leeds.ac.uk if you wish to opt out.

All staff are welcome to contract in to a pension scheme, separately to auto enrolment. You will be provided information on how to do this when you commence your employment.
