1.6 Benefits 

*Discounts in LUU Outlets 

As a member of LUU staff you are eligible for a discount in some LUU outlets. LUU Outlets where staff discounts can be obtained are;  Common Ground,  Scream, Union Shop and Gear. Old Bar and Terrace offer staff discounts on food, coffee and soft drinks but not on other drinks. 

Discount in the LUU Co-op can be obtained by signing up to the Co-op membership card.  If you sign up to a Co-op Membership Card,  when you buy selected products and services from the Co-ops, they put 5% of what you  spend into your Co-op Membership account. You can then spend this on most items in the store. This discount may be subject to change. For details on how to obtain a Co-op Card refer to  https://www.coop.co.uk/membership 

Staff discounts are only available to staff who are currently employed by LUU, no staff member should use their discount to purchase items for anyone else.  If you are found to be using your staff discount for purchases other than for yourself this will be treated as misconduct under LUU’S disciplinary  procedure.  

To access your staff discount you will need to download the LUU eats app which can be downloaded from the App store for free. You will need to scan your loyalty card on the LUU Eats app each time to get your discount. Discounts cannot be retrospectively given if you forget to scan your loyalty card. Discounts cannot be given without scanning your loyalty card. If you do not have a smartphone then please speak to the People team who will issue you with a QR code to use.
